Nurarihyon no Mago: Sennen Makyou
The anime revolves around the the clan of the main character, Nura Rikuo. Rikuo's clan is one of the strongest demon clans out there. It is the one and only Nura Clan. However, the Second Heir to the clan was murdered by someone and Rikuo, a quarter demon and three quarter human, was supposed to be the Third Heir, howeverm he had no intentions of inheriting this position. Rikuo's demon blood is able to his change his form (or rather his entire self) and turn him into one of the strongest demons. Uusing this ability, Rikuo saves his friends from other demons and threats. Being a quater demon, he is only able to maintain this form for 6 hours, and only in the night. In the second arc, another demon appears and proclaimed that he would defeat the Nura Clan. Rikuo would then have to protect his friends, the Nura clan included, using his demonic capabilities.
In the second season, the battle is brought to Kyoto, home of one of the strongest group of onmyoji. 400 years ago, Rikuo's grandfather, Nurarihyon, fought against one of the strongest demon and managed to win with the help of the onmyoji. Now, that demon has been reincarnated, stronger than before and Rikuo has to defeat her. Surprisingly, she was the one that killed Rikuo's father?!
Official Summary
Rikuo Nura appears to be an average middle school student. No one knows that he comes home every day to a house full of youkai, nor that he transforms into the all-powerful leader of these spirits at night. However, much to the disappointment of many, Rikuo is determined to live as normal a life as possible.
