This story takes place many years after our current time where technology is very advanced. People are linked up to Neuro-Linkers since birth and it replaces our current handphones and computers. Those equipped with the Neuro-Linkers can dive into virtual worlds and spend their time there doing whatever they like (there is rules & regulations, of course). Arita Haruyuki is an ordinary student that is an easy target for bullies. During his free time, he would escape to the virtual world to hide from his cruel reality. Playing the squash game, his highscore has reached a level where one with a normal reaction speed can't hope to beat. One day, he finds out that his score has been beaten by the school idol, Kuroyukihime (Not actual name, in fact, you will never learn of it in the anime), and he came across a software called Brain Burst, which allows the human mind to process multiple times faster than usual, allowing him to be in an "Accelerated" state. This anime is about Haruyuki's life within the Accelerated World.

The year is 2046. Haruyuki Arita is a young boy who finds himself on the lowest social rungs of his school. Ashamed of his miserable life, Haruyuki can only cope by indulging in virtual games.
