This anime revolves around a different dimension, also known as the Red Night, where a witch was sealed and seeks the the Fragments, one in her body and 6 others, stored within 6 different people from 6 parallel worlds, and the Eye of Aeon. One day, an incident occurred (not to sure of the details myself, when I looked it up it was kinda confusing), for some reason, the 7 Fragments was mysteriously drawn into 1 world instead of 7 seperate ones. The Fragments gave its holder supernatural power like Regeneration, Pyrokenesis, Time and Space Control and etc. The 6 Fragment holders, together with Kakeru, go on a search to stop the Red Night where the witch will activate Hellfall, a magic that destroys the entire world.

Along with his best friend Yuka, they try to decipher why they have been sent to this strange world, which is seemingly empty aside from themselves.

However, when the 'Red Night' ends, Kakeru and Yuka believed it was all a dream, until it happens again and they are left in a dangerous situation. They meet four others in the same predicament: Kusakabe Misuzu, an expert swordswoman, Tachibana Kukuri, a strange mute girl who looks uncannily like Kakeru's deceased sister, Hirohara Yukiko, a lively young girl whose personality reverts to that of a cold killer when her glasses are removed, and Tajima Takahisa, a young pyrokineticist.

As the six of them band together to survive and discover what this mysterious world is, things take a turn for the worse as six shadows appear before them...

Da Capo II

da-capo-ii

Rating : 10/10

The second part of the show is split into 2 parts.

Da Capo II
Da Capo II Second Season

The second part of the show takes place fifty-one years later, where the characters are replaced by their grandchildren and the magical tree is blooming again. The first season mainly revolves around Amakase Minatsu, a robot replacing Junichi's cousin, Amakase Miharu. The robot was activated by accident when Suginami (the grandson of the actual Suginami but they still look the same...) and the main character, Sakurai Yoshiyuki stumbles upon a hidden staircase in the office of the principal in the school, Yoshino Sakura (the very same one from the first part). Yoshiyuki accidently activates Minatsu which was supposed to remain asleep forever. Minatsu is considered unique as it is a robot that resembles a human to the extent that you cannot distinguish her from another human. Robots like Minatsu used to have feelings until they became a social problem as they are becoming better than humans. Minatsu enrolls in the same school as Yoshiyuki and it becomes his responsibility to make sure no one finds out the secret that Minatsu is a robot. In the end, Minatsu's secret became known to everyone and she was only left with a few days in school. Everyone tried to make the most of the few days left to spend with her.

In the second season, the magical tree starts malfunctioning to the extent that it grants all wishes instead of those that come from the bottom of one's heart. Sakura releases the bad wishes from the tree but some of it causes disasters to happen in the area. Sakura and Junichi from the first part of the show tries merging with the tree and filtering the magic but it still didn't work. One of Junichi's granddaughters, Asakura Otome, is unwilling to wither the tree as if she does that, Yoshiyuki would disappear as his existence is caused by the tree's magic. Soon, Yoshiyuki persuades Otome to wither the tree on the second last episode, leaving the last episode to what happened to Yoshiyuki's friends with their feelings which magic could not overcome.

Official Summary:
The undying Sakura Trees return. Based on a PS2 sequel of the original DaCapo game, the story once again takes place on Hatsunejima, but is set 53 years after the events of D.C. and D.C.S.S.. Although some characters will probably look a bit familiar to the initiated eye, the cast is a new one. The new main protagonist is Yoshiyuki Sakurai, who lives next door to the Asakura sisters Yume and Otome, who are the granddaughters of Junichi and Nemu from the first season.

Rating: 10/10

The first part of this show is split into 3 parts.

Da Capo
Da Capo If
Da Capo Second Season

The show revolves around the island where the cherry blossoms are in constant bloom, regardless of the season. The phenomenon is caused by the magical tree, which can be easily identified by the largest tree in the island. The tree grants the wishes from the bottom of one's heart. If the wishes are not from the bottom of one's heart, the wish is not granted and nothing would happen.

In the first season, the main character, Asakura Junichi, have the power to look into the dreams of others (but it is not that useful). The only person that lives with him is his sister, Asakura Nemu. As time passes, the siblings realises that they are beginning to fall for each other. When they finally were about to become lovers, they realise the obstacles that they had to overcome. Junichi realises that even some of his friends fallen for him. His cousin, Yoshino Sakura, is the only one other than Junichi that could use magic on the island. Unfortunately, Sakura was also one of those that fallen for him. She would not mind if it was someone else but she could the accept the fact that Junichi fallen with his own sister. Sakura then made a wish to break the couple's relationship. The tree responded to the wish but differently from what Sakura expected. Nemu would start coughing out cherry blossom petals from her mouth and would eventually die. Sakura causes the tree wither as it was the only way for the wish to be cancelled so that Nemu would survive.

In the OVAs which follow the first season, it revolves around the school idol, Shirakawa Kotori, one of those who had fallen for Junichi. The OVAs are a different ending to the first season. Nemu could not be saved and died eventually. Junichi then picks Kotori after being depressed due to the death of Nemu.

In the second season, two years later after the first season, a girl from another country, Aisia, came to the island to learn magic from Junichi's grandmother. Unfortunately, his grandmother had passed away. At that point of time, Nemu came back from the nursing school that she went to two years ago. She came back to the school as a nurse trainee. Soon, Sakura came back and Aisia wanted to learn magic from her. Sakura refused as Aisia kept saying magic was to make people happy and did not know the reason why magic was dangerous. Aisia managed to revive the magic cherry blossom tree and did not learned from Sakura. Aisia soon made a wish to let everyone have a chance at falling in love with Junichi as she noticed the fact that his friends had fallen for him. Nemu also turned back to the way she was before, as a sister and not a lover. Even though the magic was activated, magic cannot overcome feelings. Junichi and Nemu started crying soon after looking through some stuff that triggered their emotions but they did not understand the reason for it. Aisia saw them crying and realises that magic does not always bring happiness. Sakura explains to Aisia what happened two years ago where Nemu nearly died. Aisia soon used her magic to return everything to the way it was before she came and there was a chance that everyone would forget about her. Later, Junichi and Nemu married each other and Junichi didn't forget about Aisia when she appeared at their wedding.

He had thought his normal days would last forever, until they were ended abruptly by an encounter with a girl with red hair and eyes. He named her Shana.

Not long after he enters high school, Sakai Yuji’s normal days come to an end. He sees something bizarre on his way home: people are frozen in a strange fire, and a monster that looks like a large doll is attacking them. Just when he's about to be killed, a girl in a dark cloak wielding a large sword appears, and slices the monster in half. Although Yuji survives the strange encounter, the girl informs him of a desolate truth: " 'You' don't exist anymore."

She calls herself a Flame Haze who hunts "Guze no Tomogara"; intruders from another world. She explains to him that he is a "Torch", a substitute of Yuji whose “existence” has already been devoured. She also told him that he is a special Torch, "Mystes", which contains a precious item in it. When he looks at his chest, he sees within himself a faint flame, just as she said.

It is in this way that his eternal struggle alongside the girl begins.

His friends and a mysterious girl, which his sister "picked up"(literally), works at the store, just to help out as the sister sometimes have to leave her home for various purposes, leaving Takumi to manage the store. The mysterious girl, having superv cake-making skills, was hired and oddly, she has "cat ears"(might just be her hair though). Takumi's sister always picks up stray cats along the way, making it more tempting to pick up the cat-eared girl. As the story progresses, their bonds with each other grows stronger and the story revolves around this aspect.

Dog Days'

This anime is about a hero being summoned to a different world. Shinku is summoned to a world where war is just a way to have fun and earn money. The people from that world do not get injured during the war due the effects of the magical powers in the land as long as they are within the boundary. The hero realised that there was no way to return back to his own world and agrees to help out until he finds a way back.

In the second season, Shinku goes back, along with 2 of his childhood friends, Nanami and Rebecca. A new nation is also introduced when Shinku goes back. Along the way, Shinku and the ruler of the new nation accidentally unseals the Demon King, which is a pervert?!?!

Official Summary:
Republic of Biscotti faces a predicament by the invasion of Galette Leo Knights. In order to save the country, Princess Milchore summons a "hero" from the outer world. Shinku, a junior high school boy living in the Earth, is chosen as the hero.

Seitokai No Ichizon

Rating: 10/10

2 seasons
Seitokai no Ichizon
Seitokai no ichizon Lv 2

A comedy anime about a Student Council with the main character, Sugisaki Ken, treating it as his harem. The members of the Student Council is elected through a popularity vote, with an exception of one who has the top grades in the school. For the sake of entering the Student Council, Ken studied really hard and made it in. Upon entering the Student Council Room, the first thing he did was confess his love to all four girls in the room.

In the second season, 2 new characters are introduced, Sugisaki's little sister and childhood friend. There is also a change in art and voice characters (which I don't really like). But once again, it is another season filled with comedy.

Official Summary:
The members of the student council of Hekiyou Gakuen are chosen by a popularity vote. As a result, all the members are cute girls except for Sugisaki Ken, who studied hard to enter the council. The story features the endless chattering of the members full of parodies of "The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya", "Dragon Ball", "Death Note", etc.

Another new blog again... Didn't have a choice... It's been a week since the blog was removed so I just replaced it with another... The effort to make that "Watched 100 Anime" post was wasted I guess....
No worries! I'll just post at least one anime here everyday!

Look forward to it ^^
